APARTMENT INFORMATION
Quantity does not mean quality, therefore this cute, charming 33m2 might be considered the quality, a lovely little jewel in the heart of Paris. This apartment is on the 6th French floor of a typical 19th century Parisian building, and it sleeps 2, with eventually an option for 4, as the couch folds out into a bed. It is full of light and has a sweeping open view of the Parisian rooftops, and of the Arts and Métiers conservatory with its 17th century church. This apartment is equipped with: Washing machine, Dishwasher, Unlimited high speed Internet access, Phone, Stereo, Cable TV, iron and board.
BUILDING
This late 19th-century building heavy sandstone, carved building is full of charm, as well as being well-located. The building is equipped with an elevator, security code, and concierge.
NEIGHBORHOOD

This apartment could not be in a better position in the Marais, just between the markets streets of the Rue de Bretagne and the rue Montorgeuil, both offering a plethora of the typical Parisian shops: butchers, bakeries, cheese shops, fresh fish, as well as fresh fruit, vegetables, and caterers. Bistros and cafés also dote every corner, with terraces full of fashionable Parisians, watching fashionable Parisians pass by. For the shopper looking for unique cloths, many young creators have chosen the Marais, and especially near the rue de Bretagne, for their boutiques.
Antique shops, design, art galleries, good and unique restaurants as well as an assortment of any kind of boutique desired are also easily found.
For the sight-seer, This area is the center and the oldest part of Paris, and contains many of its museums, and historic sites, including the Place des Vosges, as well as being just next door to the Centre Georges Pompidou, Place de l’hôtel de Ville, Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, and the Place de la République. Within 10 minutes walking distance to the South, you are in Saint Germain - Saint Michel, located on the left bank of the Seine river.
For those not familiar with the Marais, it is important to point out how safe the area is, near hospitals, police and with many resident doctors, as well as pharmacies on every corner.
ENTRANCE/LIVING
The 13-square-meter entrance and living area are openly adjacent to the Kitchen, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere for preparing meals at the end of a long day at the office or of site seeing. The rue Reaumur runs East and West, and holds sunshine all day, coupled with the long windows in the living and Kitchen, sunlight floods the apartment all day. The living room is furnished with two fat, large square sofa chairs that can be pushed together for a three-person sofa, and that separately create two single beds. The room is also furnished with tables and chairs, a coffee table, books, nick-knacks, plants and wall hangings, books (in French) and stereo. Two small balconies allow you to have a glass of wine while enjoying the view of the Arts & Métiers conservatory as well as the roof-top view of Paris. The floors are hard-wood with carpets.
KITCHEN
The 5-square-meter kitchen is just adjacent to the living area, and quite large for an apartment of this size, with plenty of working space for the gourmet cook. It comprises one of the large windows with a balcony overlooking the Arts & Métiers Conservatory. It has a table and chairs that actually are placed between the kitchen and living area, once again, making the entire two-room space open and comfortable. It is modern with grey tile on the floor and walls and includes microwave, 4 electric burners, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, water boiler, extractor hood, fridge, freezer, cloths washing machine, cupboards, closets and all kitchen utensils and dishes.
BEDROOM
The 12-square-meter bedroom has one window, and like the rest of the apartment, with balcony, also with the view of the conservatory. It is furnished with a double bed, night table, cable television, lamps, a built-in wall closet, and carpets covering a hard-wood floor.
BATHROOM
The 3-square-meter bathroom has no windows, but is simple, modern and functional, all in white tile with a large shower and wash basin, plus cupboard space for your toiletries. The toilet is separate, just next to the bathroom. Both are accessible from the entrance.
